Two Breakfast Toast Recipes to start your morning right

Start your morning right with these delicious, healthy and easy toast recipes.

1- Hard boiled eggs with avocado:

Despite the high fat content of a single avocado, it is considered one of the best superfoods and is recommended worldwide as part of a healthy and well-balanced diet. Even if you are trying to lose weight, many nutritionists will advise you to eat half an avocado every morning. The same goes for eggs as they are considered the perfect source of protein. That’s why we have combined the countless benefits of these two ingredients in a simple and easy recipe.

For 1 serving, all you need is:

  • 1 hardboiled egg
  • Half an avocado, peeled and sliced
  • 1 slice of bread
  • Salt and pepper
  • Pine nuts

First, toast the bread and then place avocado slices onto the toast. Slice the hardboiled egg and place it on top of the avocado. Add salt and pepper as much as desired and if you are not on diet, add roasted pine nuts. Enjoy!

French toast recipe

2- Classic French toast:

The classic French toast is another breakfast favourite for many people, especially on Saturday mornings. For 2 servings you will need:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • 75 ml of milk
  • 2 tbsp of flour
  • 1 tbsp of sugar
  • Salt and cinnamon to taste
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 4 thick slices bread

Throw all the above ingredients (except the bread and the butter) in a dish and whisk them together very well.

Preheat a pan and grease it well with butter.

Dip the bread slices into the mixture, making sure you coat both sides evenly and generously, place them in the pan and cook for a few minutes on both sides until golden brown.

For decoration, you can sprinkle some brown sugar and syrup.

Serve warm!
