Chicken and mushroom pie tends to be rich and creamy with lots of flavour, made from puff pastry. Best eaten on the day of baking, although leftovers can be store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days, reheating in a microwave.<\/p>\n<h3><u>Ingredients<\/u><\/h3>\n<p>350g Cooked Chicken<\/p>\n<p>25g Butter<\/p>\n<p>1 Large Onion Chopped<\/p>\n<p>150g Mushroom Sliced<\/p>\n<p>25g Flour<\/p>\n<p>150ml Chicken Stock<\/p>\n<p>150ml Milk<\/p>\n<p>2 teaspoons mustard<\/p>\n<p>Salt &amp; pepper to Season<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>For the pastry:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>250g Plain Flour<\/p>\n<p>130g Butter<\/p>\n<p>1 Beaten egg to glaze<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-767\" src=\"https:\/\/lifestyle.eawuk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/puff-pastry-web-072-1080x1620-660x365.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"373\" height=\"207\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><u>Method<\/u><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>On medium heat, melt the butter in a large saucepan. Add in the chopped onion and sliced mushrooms, cook for 2 minute stirring throughout. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.<\/li>\n<li>Remove from the heat, stir in the chicken stock and milk.
